Master Instructors and the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators is a Gold Sponsor for An Experiment in Optimal Learning to be conducted during the week of AirVenture 2024. The genesis of this event came out of the Nine Principles of Light Airplane Flying authored by Master Instructor Rich Stowell and has been in development for almost two years. Also, involved in this program are Master Instructors Mike Kloch, Mark King, Ken Wittekiend and Michael Phillips.
For AirVenture 2024 this event will transform the EAA Pilot Proficiency Center into an interactive learning center where you can engage in hands-on activities and connect with passionate pilots and instructors in an environment that sparks on-the-spot creativity and experimentation.
Register for one of six half-day workshops each designed to improve the ability of flight instructors and aviation educators to deliver training more effectively. Each workshop will consist of briefing, interactive discussion, activity and simulator lab, and debriefing periods.
