Master Instructors is pleased to announce the designation 0f Brian Robbins of Southhampton, NJ as a Master CFI for the eighth time. Brian is an ATP rated CFI, CFII, MEI with Gold Seal and instructs at Flying W (N14) and Trenton-Robbinsville (N87). He is a Lead FAASTeam Representative for the Philadelphia FSDO. He specializes in Diamond Aircraft, Garmin G1000, as well as Instrument and Cross-country instruction. He enjoys sharing Cross-country flights and sharing experiences learned in the Caribbean, Canada, and coast to coast flights in the US. Aviation Safety is his passion.

Master Instructors is pleased to announce the designation of Adam Stoughton of Murrieta, CA as a Master CFI for the second time. He currently flies a Piper Meridian out of French Valley airport and manages two Cirrus’ for the same company. In addition, he offers consulting services to Part 135 organizations on the development and implementation of training programs for their flight crews. He has worked in various instructional environments to include small flight schools, aeronautical universities, small charter companies and large charter/fractional operators. He has also developed and implemented ground and simulator training programs supporting professional jet operations as well as training in light aircraft.

Master Instructors is pleased to announce the designation of Mark King of Oxnard, CA as a Master CFI–Aerobatic for the second time.  As a full time Gold Seal CFII, upset recovery and Aerobatic Instructor at Santa Paula’s renowned flight school, CP Aviation, he also enjoys aerobatics in his Pitts S2B, and is an International Aerobatic Club Regional Judge.  In April of 2019, Mark traveled to Poznan, Poland to teach Emergency Maneuvers, Aerobatics, and Tailwheel flying to a group of Super Decathlon Owners.  Additionally, Mark has flown extensively in Alaska in the Quest Kodiak 100.  He is also a FAAST Team representative for the Van Nuys FSDO.

Master Instructors is pleased to announce the designation of Mike Dowty as a Master CFI-Aerobatic for the first time. Mike, of Navarre, Florida, is an UPRT Instructor Pilot for Aviation Performance Solutions. He holds Flight Instructor certificates for Instrument, Single-Engine and Multi-Engine Land and Sea. A former Navy Instructor and Evaluator in the A-6E, TA-4 J and T-2C aircraft, he holds an Air Medal with Combat V from his time in Naval service, during which he served in a number of aviation training and safety roles.

Master Instructors is pleased to announce the designation of Kent Fitch of Wylie, TX, as a Master CFI for the third time. He began his aviation career as an aviation mechanic in the United States Marine Corps which allowed him to earn an A&P rating. After the Marine Corps, he pursued fixed wing and rotary wing ratings and then returned to the military as a helicopter pilot. After leaving the Army he earned an ATP and joined the airlines. He is now flying King Air’s in the Middle East and working on an advanced degree in Aviation Safety.

Master Instructors is pleased to announce the designation of Andrew Marinelli of Youngstown, OH as a Master CFI for the eighth time. Throughout his career in aviation he has operated as an independent flight instructor. Although not currently part of a team of flight instructors at Gemco Aviation, he has acted in the capacity of a chief flight instructor at both Precision Aviation and Crosswind Aviation. His area of expertise is instrument flight instruction. He has served as President of the Elser Pilot Association since its inception in 2014.

Master instructors is pleased to announce the designation of Shane Vande Voort of Pella, IA as a Master CFI for the ninth time. Shane is a second-generation flight instructor who owns and operates Classic Aviation, Inc. the fixed base operator at the Pella Municipal Airport and the Oskaloosa Municipal Airport in Iowa.  Shane provides flight instruction, mostly in tailwheel and technologically advanced aircraft, and serves as an FAA designated pilot examiner for the Des Moines FSDO.  Shane is also a licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and enjoys the variety of working in general aviation.  Shane enjoys flying and traveling with his family in his spare time.
