Nick “Outback” Treglia of Enterprise, AL recently earned his Third Designation as Master Certificated Flight Instructor-Aerobatic. Nick, an instructor pilot at Aviation Performance Solutions, earned his accreditation as part of the extensive training and experience APS advanced instructor pilots receive in order to be qualified to teach fully comprehensive Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). Nick joined Aviation Performance Solutions in April 2017 and presently serves as the Director of APS Dothan Programs. He is responsible for APS Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) standardization in the US Army Fixed-Wing training program at CAE’s Dothan Training Center. Nick is a former Naval Aviator with over thirty years, and 10,000 hours military and civilian aviation experience. More on Nick’s background: apstraining.com/treglia/

Aaron Balog of Seattle, WA, has been named a Master Instructor for the first time. Aaron is a full time Boeing employee supporting flight test operations. He has a passion for aviation and enjoys instructing all level of students. He has been an active pilot since he earned his license in 2000 from Purdue University and flies an RV-8 he built.He has taught for flying clubs in California and Washington State since 2005. He is currently on the board of directors for the Boeing Employees Flying Association, a 500 member club with 17 aircraft. In his off time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
