Master Instructors is pleased to announce that John Mahany of Long Beach, California has earned his Eighth accreditation as a Master Instructor. John is an independent CFII and IFR Training Specialist for Professional Instrument Courses. Meanwhile, he is involved in the Southern California GA community as a safety advocate and is passionate about flying and teaching, sharing his knowledge through training other pilots. He’s active as a writer and presenter of safety webinars and seminars and among numerous aviation organizations, he is involved in EAA Chapter 7, the Fullerton Airport Pilots Association, and SoCal Pilots, all to give back and make a difference in GA safety.

Master Instructors is pleased to welcome Andrew Michael Borash of Missoula, Montana as the newest member of the Master Instructor community. Andrew is a born and raised Montana aviator, introduced to it at age 7 by his grandfather. He went on to college for aviation and graduated with his Single and Multi-engine Commercial certifications and CFI. Since then Andrew has completed his CFI-I, MEI, and is SIC type rated in a Phenom 300. He continues to expand his aviation knowledge and skills not only to make himself a safer pilot, but to make those he teaches the best and safest they can be. His Initial Master CFI Designation demonstrates his commitment to aviation education while he continues to grow as a pilot, instructor, mentor and mentee every day.
